"I hold a Black belt in Taekwondo and am a national player. But when I got the news that I was hired to work at Bharat Petroleum, I did not think twice about leaving my hometown in the North East. However, coming from a small town, I was anxious about moving to a city like Mumbai. So, I decided to focus on what I was here for and threw myself into work, keeping to myself. It was a few days later when I noticed that my colleagues would go out of their way to make me feel comfortable. And after a few meetings with my manager, it was clear that the organisation appreciated and encouraged my foray into sports. I finally felt like myself again, I started practicing Taekwando and found a whole new family in this new city. I've been here for 2.5 years and I see myself thriving in my personal and professional life."
